Went tonight to get dinner for my family. And spent a nice amount of money, and we get home and I opened the box to give my son his food and there was a live maggot crawling out of his chicken quesadilla.

My family has been going to this same restaurant since 2002 and we keep returning for a reason. The food is always good, it's affordable, and I don't remember a time where my drink was empty. Tonight my tea was barely an inch below full and it got refilled. The queso was amazing too.

Amazing food!

Really good Mexican food in an area where there are not many similar options. They have more authentic options such as Caído de res, Caldo de pollo, horchata to drink along some other good options. Service is good and friendly however the time we went all empty tables were not clean.

Good food low prices little or no wait

For this being a small restaurant business, it is very very good and micheladas are hella bomb!!!! Had the #9 plate and was soooooo good! Will be coming back real soon.

The Food and Service was excellent

Got to the drive thru before they closed, sat for 10 minutes. All the ladies walked by looking at me and even laughing, yet no one served me. Then after realizing I was not going to just leave, one of them comes to the window and says “We aren’t serving anymore”, closes the window and walks away. It was absolutely ridiculous. The food is good. The service is AWFUL!! I’m livid.

One of my college friends took me here and I enjoyed the authentic Mexican food. It was hot and delicious and after that first time visiting I would joke around saying "after a big day we need to hit up our restaurant" and she would instantly know what I'm talking about

Great authentic Mexican food

The ranchito has the best Mexican food in the world! There are two or three places that taste just as good but I can tell you the food here is authentic and it tastes fantastic and the price is right in the service is beyond compare! The ladies are ultra friendly and they are really really sweet people!

Had breakfast here on Friday service was great had 3 kids in tow 7-9 they all say they enjoyed meal prices to move plates thanks

Best Mexican food around

Authentic TexMex food with great spice. The Pastor has an excellent kick and an extremely satisfying taste.

We were honestly surprised at how good the food was here. The flavors for everything were spot on. Not to mention very large portions, I couldn’t believe how much food we got! My boyfriend who is very picky about micheladas loved them here. The service was also good. Our waitress was very kind. Will definitely give this place another try!

The waitress gave me one menu it was a party of three.Then one of the salsa was past it time .It had a bad taste to it.Other than that everything was good.Just hope some of these waitresses can learn to be better.

Great place to eat authentic Mexican food. I have been eating here for almost 20 years and several of the staff members have worked here the whole time that I have been coming. Some of my favorites are the carne asada and the shrimp soup (caldo de camarones). The breakfast plates are very good and they are well priced.You know a Mexican restaurant is the real deal when they offer menudo (Saturdays).

Food was very good and service was excellent. My buddy told me there breakfast is awesome so I will have to go back and try it. The salsa is very good and has a mean kick.

Service is spotty at best.... Language barrier with some of the wait staff.... Food is OK not great it's moderately priced the tea always tastes old like it was made days ago only single restrooms kinda small and cramped it is what it is I guess

The food is delicious and always fresh. Salsa is excellent. Staff is very friendly. We've been going for 10 years now, and have never been disappointed.

I've been cominig here over 16 years whenever i visit my dad! The food is delicious and inexpensive. It makes me happy every single time!

The food is always great and the day time service is good but night time service has really gone down hill in the last few months. What's the point of having a drive through window if the employees just look and walk away pretending not to see a vehicle there?

They use to be a place I visit frequently. Good food at good prices. And if you were lucky and got the right waitress. It would be perfect. But lately I've seen the prices slowly going up. I've noticed the more business they get the more their prices get. Our high school kids go there alot because of their prices. Let's not make it hard for our local kids to enjoy theirselves by eating out. Their now prefering to eat in Cypress than a local restaurant. Truly sad!

Really fast service and good prices. Food is somewhat plain like frozen TV dinners. Queso is thin . I will continue to eat here because Waller Texas does not have many options. The drive thru is convenient. If you are really hungry eat here. It won't be the best Mexican food you have ever ate but you will leave full and it won't hurt your Wallet.

Not so good anymore!

I ordered the cheese and chicken enchilada plate. The food was subpar and way too salty. The service was slow.

Definitely will come back anytime we are in the area. The food was very, very good. Home cooking in its finest. Great, inviting atmosphere. Smiling, gracious staff. As any Texan knows ...you only go where the chips & salsa are good & they do NOT disappoint. 😀 A chilled salsa AND a warm salsa are served. They also do not put a dent in your pocket book. Great prices. Just a definite MUST when you are in or driving through the area. So, so good!!

The cheese enchiladas are nasty.The fajita picada is great. Quesadillas are great, nachos are great. Stay away from the cheese enchiladas with ricos cheese inside...yuk...

This place has authentic Mexican food...Never has gotten a plate I didn't like..Great food around the clock.

Best Tex-mex I ever had. Defiantly recommend. Took only 5 minutes for food.
